Navara and iET Solutions bring IT Service Management to mobile devices

iET® Solutions, a leading provider of ITIL based IT Service Management (ITSM) software solutions and services, and Navara today announced a worldwide partnership. The partnership is an OEM agreement under which iET Solutions will offer a mobile extension to its IT Service Management Solution through the Navara platform.

Unit 4 Agresso Healthcare and Navara have partnered to develop a mobile healthcare application. Unit 4 Cura of Unit 4 Agresso. Navara provides expertise to create, view, update and transmit personal details of the clients in a secured wireless environment. With the joint agreement on the mobile application, both companies are meeting needs of the market. Unit 4 Cura Mobile is expected to be available in fall 2008.

Pentagon mobilizes inventory management in days

After years of independent operations, fourteen existing groups within the Department of Defense were using just as many methods to track new assets as they arrived. The DoD had recently directed that all assets be marked under the new Individual Unique Identifier (IUID) program, with IT management opting to do this through a Remedy Asset Management database. However, the solution did not come with a mobile interface, which would be needed for bar coding purposes. At this point, Navara's mobile extension platform stepped into the picture.

Navara Mobility Suite 4.2 now available

This latest version of Navara's leading mobile workflow solution includes a SOAP Adapter that allows software integrators to create mobile solutions in a fraction of the time they traditionally spent before. The new release also includes several improved processes for the BlackBerry client, such as an improved look and feel, and enhanced support for large data sets.

AT&T certifies Navara solution

Navara is pleased to announce that the Navara Mobility Suite, its Windows Mobile, Windows Desktop x86, and Blackberry clients have been certified by AT&T and an independent testing firm for use on the AT&T network.
